Tap on highlighted terms to inspect classical root (धातु), grammatical case, and philosophical clarity:

Sugriva and Rama formalise their friendship around the sacred fire (Agni-sakshi). The Kishkindha Kanda teaches: dharma is not solitary — it requires alliance. Even Rama, the divine prince, needs friends to recover Sita. The willingness to enter equal friendship, to bind one's arm to another's cause, is itself a high dharma. Sugriva — a king reduced to refugee — and Rama — a prince reduced to wanderer — meet as equals, not as superior and inferior.

Simple explanation

Editorial explanation, not scripture

Modern reflection

Editorial reflection, not scripture

शोध संदर्भResearch context · not scriptureComparative Research Noteशोध टिप्पणी

A modern parallel offered for reflection. It is not part of the scripture, and it has not been checked against the original sources it may allude to.
