Tap on highlighted terms to inspect classical root (धातु), grammatical case, and philosophical clarity:

"Tat Tvam Asi" is the most explosive statement in the history of philosophy. You are not a separate being seeking the divine — you ARE the divine, appearing as a human being. The student Shvetaketu spent 12 years in Vedic learning, returned arrogant, and his father had to dismantle his ego with this one teaching: the Absolute is not "out there" — it is your deepest Self.

Simple explanation

Editorial explanation, not scripture

Modern reflection

Editorial reflection, not scripture

A modern parallel offered for reflection. It is not part of the scripture, and it has not been checked against the original sources it may allude to.
